My Valentine

My Valentine By Franklin Price 02/14/2022 My Valentine, I love you I'm alone, but not forlorn It's two-thirty in the morning Heart strings stretched, but never torn I awoke, you weren't beside me But the love was that you left I'm saddened by your passing Your love is here, I'm not bereft Today's a day to celebrate Eternal love that's yours and mine You'll always be here with me You'll always be my Valentine I hear a whisper in my ear Hear your voice within my head “I'll love you, 'til the end of time. Now get your butt back in the bed.”
