Money

Money is one of life’s necessary evils everyone seems to want more Those who have the most control Would even go to war Not worried about the cost To increase their monetary wealth Willing to give up anything Including their family or health Money cannot buy happiness Is what many people say But to those who are obsessed Happiness just gets in the way Having money can make life easier No worries about how bills will be paid. The decision to pay for meds or food No longer has to be made Money doesn't grow on trees But that's what some younger ones think One day you could be swimming in it The next it could be gone in a blink So invest your money wisely And save up for a rainy day Because you never know what life’s Tomorrow is going to bring your way. 6/6/2021
