Midnight Valentine
In mortibus corde
Latin In Death’s Heart
You breathe in the blood of the reaper
The seeker of all our sullen souls
My diamond tears frost my ruby encrusted cheeks
I am frowning rainbow
Daytime I desire the nightly hour
Sword filled seconds sing
I recite by candlelight cautious prayer
Warming my wilted wildflower heart
To be in death's wing
His bones a magical harp
I’m moving through the melancholy maze of mizpath
With the falcate falcon moon
Beating upon my bedraggled body
Star bridge connects us once again…
Our hearts beat as Jupiter's storm
In wonderment I glaze upon gazes of your glorious eyes
They flash forever in fruition
Like two mahogany ribbons wrapping
Through constellations
I burst out of bleak black holes
We star step throughout eternity
Time whispers morning
Your spirit fades
I arise like golden sun hidden by storm clouds
And must mush through a matrix day
I wink to myself
Your flesh is aftertaste upon my spiritual lips
