Like the Rain Clouds

He says to her, You are like the rain clouds That drift through this town When there are times of drought. The fields are dry and life seems fragile; Until your storms wipe each person’s fear away. And he says to her, There are terrible things to be seen in your eyes The shade of wrath- Colored this side of dangerous ideas. But as the winds gather speed His words are lost to the great rustle. One simple reply is his only answer. Her smile dances with meanings no one could ever know.
