Life’s Colours

Sometimes the world seems only blue, and sometimes it seems green, Sometimes it’s red, sometimes gold, and all the colours between. Yellow is my happy place, my calm is pale green, Blue is sadness, red annoyed, and I avoid the black being seen. But my heart now knows all the colours, a rainbow shining bright, With hope, peace, love and happiness, the world’s a beautiful sight.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your "color-filled" thoughts through your unique poetic style. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
