Lie Not To Yourself
what we hear, is not the whole truth.
what we see, may only be half the truth.
what we are told may be the truth, to them.
Though, we must decide to sink or swim.
even though there may be water to tread.
our hearts and minds, believe what is read.
each story, has two sides to be told.
usually one hot and other cold.
every book has a cover.
one in the front, the other at the end.
in between, is what one will discover.
no two parties, will see the same trend.
Even, if it is read, by another party.
each one will retain, different pieces, in recall.
defining the tale, either cool or hearty.
with or without a hero, that may rise or fall.
