Innermost Secret
In the realm where mirrors hold no truth,
And judgments fade, lost in the youth,
There lies a beauty, a tranquil light,
Far beyond the eyes, shining bright.
It's not the skin, fair and smooth,
But a depth of soul, a graceful groove,
That makes one glow, both near and far,
Like the gentle light of the evening star.
Inner beauty, a timeless song,
A melody where hearts belong,
It's kindness in words and love in deeds,
A caring heart that truly feeds.
No makeup can paint this lovely grace,
No costume can mask this precious face,
For in the chambers of the soul,
True beauty finds its eternal goal.
It's in the laughter, genuine and clear,
In wiping away another's tear,
In empathy, in being kind,
In the noble thoughts that fill the mind.
A spirit bright, a heart of gold,
A story in every line and fold,
In the tapestry of a person's being,
Lies the beauty we are all foreseeing.
So let us cherish this inner art,
For it's this beauty that sets us apart,
A radiant glow that never dies,
In the heart and soul, where true beauty lies.
