IN THE DARK ROOM

Silence gripped fear in a very dark room As two hearts converged in the night's embrace. One worn by time's relentless race, The other seeking solace in its lonely space. He envisioned a fleeting encounter, brief Moments of passion, then sweet relief Yet her tale whispered of biting grief Her eyes held the weight of ancient belief. In her voice, a whisper of sorrow's song In her gaze, the world's old pains belong With tender wounds and dreams forlorn In the darkness, raw emotions were born. What could have been mere fleeting trade Became an entanglement, emotions swayed Fantasy entwined with reality's braid In the dark room where hearts were laid.
