In Story Land
In Story Land great books can fly
With tales of magic soaring high
On wings of passion sailing where
Imagination is the sky.
Tales once imagined that we share
Are born into that kingdom there
If someone here believes in one
Then there it becomes self aware.
In Story Land great deeds are done
By heroes not to be outdone
Whose only limitations are
The imaginings of someone.
Tales both boring and the bizarre
Take form from thoughts that wage a war
And fight to one day breach the veil
To claim their place among the stars.
In Story Land their Holy Grail
is woven in our spoken tale
Like magic casting living spells
Grants life to tales the minstrel tells.
