I dedicate this poem to my Mother. This poem is part (2) of my poem (I'm Forever Dying).

I grace the shoreline, looking for what, I can not see. I smell the sea, the fragrance of fish lingers, where I have stepped beneath. Sand scrapes my knees, when I kneel, to find my peaceful release. Waves slap the shore awake, pulling her beautiful shells, further away from me. The sun feels cold, chilling my attempts, as my sore knees bleed. Her beautiful shells lie broken, crushed by heavy waves, In the sands of the rolling sea. The sky Is red, but there will be no delight, So I'll wait for the morning to weep.
