Forgive Me Please

Forgive me please for my sharp tongue. I didn’t realize I was doing you harm. Forgive me please for offending you. I was hurting when I lashed out at you. Forgive me please for wounding you. I spoke to quick and this is true. Forgive me please- my dear friend. I don’t want to stay in sin. * Just thinking about the power of forgiveness on this morning. We must forgive one another so our Heavenly Father will forgive us also. This was written in March of 2007. I thought it was in my list of poems already posted.

It is important to ask for forgiveness so that healing can take place--though it isn't easy. Blessings to you for sharing this timeless message with us. Thank you for your kind words on my lanterne. Have a wonderful weekend. Karen

We emulate our Lord when we learn to forgive. Asking for forgiveness can be humbling at times, but receiving forgiveness and granting forgiveness bring us closer to God. Great poem, Mary! Love, Carolyn
