Family Brother can you please tell me What has been my crime Because we don’t seem to talk no more And we’re both running out of time Brother can you tell me Do you remember when we were young Sure, we had our share of arguments But mostly we had lots of fun Brother can you tell me If you remember how this started Because we really need to fix this Before our spirits have departed Brother can I you tell you If I were in trouble, I feel you’d answer my call Because I still believe that family trumps The biggest arguments of all

Not sure if abut your brother but agree with sentiment. but time is the enemy and human pride in case of family estrangement. My half brother never could reconcile with his sister. I along with my brother and sister tried to facilitate, but to no avail. Our half sister has since passed away. That is why I give thanks daily that or three children all still talk to us and each other. from a poetry perspective you have showcased your talent. I hope it gets read often. This poem speaks to many family members. A person can offer an olive branch, but the other person has to be willing to take it. It rhymes well. I enjoyed it.
