Fallen Star

I stare at night through open shutters, glaring upon winding lights of darken windows, of lighted paths Cars blaze, in rush to slumber I glare up at our wintry sky, take in its cold embrace. Wind chills my barely covered arms, harshly slaps its unbearable chill upon my once warm face, plays in my hair as it settles in my skin. A once bright star dims above, his heart weighs, his body gives as it falls off its Orion My once content soul dims below my heart weighs, my body gives. I fall off my horizon. Into the endless night our hearts continue to fall against the wintry chill My soul now free,as I watch my shooting star.

Hi, Debbie. Isn't it great to marvel and interact with 'the wonder of it all?" A very nice piece my friend. Blessings.
