Though hued October canopies the earth
I picture you in shadows without mirth
A forlorn gaze nestling on the threadbare wind
While my eyes reflect time which can’t appease
This burst of anguish on one ghastly day.
Beyond pathways, our fervor's demise ends
When lucent nights once imbued harmony:
Yet I roam with you before morn unfolds
Leaving me nameless in umbra of tears.
Your silhouette dips...my breath fails to rise.
