Daisy Thoughts
Gathering “daisy do’s” and “daisy don’ts”
amid life’s proverbial clover.
The sun may shine
on clouds divine.
I think I’ll name the little dog “Rover.”
Butterfly near, I think you’re a dear
to pollinate the flowers.
A winged delight
within my sight.
I think I’ll look for a four leaf clover.
Dove so white in drifting flight
soon lost on the foggy horizon.
Daisy flowerets
Petaled roulette
I think I’ll call the yellow cat “Grover.”
A bee buzzing here, a bee buzzing there
It’s stinger I hope not to feel
I’d better run.
Stings are not fun.
I think I’ll wish for this day to be over.
