Chocolate Cake
I admit, it was me who ate that whole chocolate cake
I’m not very proud, please give me a break
I was possessed by the devil or some malevolent force
It was as if some entity stood over me, I felt so coerced
Even from the oven I heard it calling my name
My mind was already made up, I wasn’t going to play that game.
Smelling so delicious my lips had began smacking
Sneaking trips to the kitchen I was definitely tracking.
Then it was all finished to my sheer delight
A fork in the middle to make sure it baked right.
I couldn’t stop munching I was out of control
I ate it right out the pan; Why waste a bowl?
Piece by piece I sliced until it was through
It was so yummy; What else was I supposed to do?
I know you were thinking, share it or cut a piece for another time.
Yeah, it’s all gone so I won’t even bother with this rhyme.
