No amount of words could keep her from leaving Repetitive words spewed in her direction Lost looks of uncertainty Groans of gigantic proportions Tear ducts betrayed her and sprung a leak Frozen stiff, my heart remained rapidly alive Her runway walk out of my life was quite insidious At that moment, I drowned in waves of embarrassment
