Summer’s fall is just a state of mind;
the trees, you know, look forward to the rest.
And summer won’t mind being left behind:
each season hopes the next in line is blessed.
Though winter thaws bring loveliest of flowers;
they can’t withstand the long hot summer hours.
So, they make way for sun and waterplay;
grateful they brought happiness in May.
Then summer, in the spotlight getting scorched,
looks forward to a cold drink on the porch.
An early rise each day all season long
and late-night hours suggest it can’t be wrong...
For summer to bow gracefully to fall
for fall will welcome winter like the rest.
Though winter, at times, puts us to the test...
Each season proves the very best of all!
