An Untankful Poetic Truce

In another life There was a strife Angry like the frustrated wife Embarked on By those who enjoy a con ‘Invade’ my enemy did say “You are going to pay!” Wanting it their way But I retaliate Over this immature hate Getting the message straight “This was not my fault What you throw on with your salt Yes, I have caught This ugly rash Bottom line someone wants cash” For centuries we have not gotten along And that you my neighbor is very wrong Here sit down and may we talk You seem tired from that untankful walk Through bitter cold wintry snow “How much do you really know?” Put down that thing Which you use to do your shooting Call you royal King And proclaim ‘Let us put an end Does everyone comprehend The strategy of starting to defend As a peaceful mend To send Our feelings Sometime shrouded in madness is the dealing Sort it out over a delightful conversation Then put away the distrust we are raisin Dear Sir, Warmed by the animal fir My invader To in the future, I will cater What do you want from me? Your resentment since I am free Wanting to do Under my own rule Educated after studying in school What is going on? A true defense to your con You walk behind that tank A job to put money in the bank Snow in your eyes Reasons you were giving were all lies But what do you want from me? To see What my country would be I cannot let you proceed At this degree My friends are coming And I am not going to do any running While looking into the mirror An answer made it clearer From my parental guide Who truly tried Taking a stand During a diplomatic jam Long ago Surviving the snow That you today walk in Thinking you will win Using the tank Feeling forceful having a rank Here I sit Using poetic wit Putting words down Not an angry sounding frown Instead, an honest tone Thoughtful message thrown as a bone For you to chew on Thinking before you con It is time we find trust This is something we must Agree upon Before waving the wand Magically diffusing this frightful bomb It has been so many years So many tears Should not this all be discussed over beers In the garden Resulting in a pardon I am done spinning I hope you are grinning About the battle you are waging Forcing everyone to be engaging In the end I hope my words did mend And can comprehend My poetic yarn I wrote on the farm In the barn That is special to me For no fee Only to decree Stopping the untankful exercise That is not a surprise A March built on lies Not very wise Due to the number of dead That is said Instead Let us wed A marriage Celebrated in a carriage Uniting happy thoughts Sharing what we have been taught Humanity lets us all Answer the call Protecting each other While preserving the earth which belongs to Mother
