Only in September does my essence find release
When the blaze of moments infects
my hunger for raw *wantonness...*
Gulls skitter on coastlines and reel overhead
Their croons heralding summer's ebullience,
Until my limbs twirl unceasingly
For an endless tempo of bohemian dance:
I shall but ignore* the parching sun
And race with tousles of duskfall's groove,
this free-fall surrender* to unknown escapades...
Then weightless like a carefree rhythm
Of a tide ebbing its murmured sigh--
This final brilliance quiets my indulgence
Ending a night’s frolic through a beamed prayer.
