" Away "

One day then away we sailed, From that mole we then were hailed. "Where ye bound ye sailors bold?" Thus began this tale told. "Ports afar & seas o'green!" So did we return that chant, "We sail far for lands unseen!" Of this notion all adamant. Young we were & without clue, Of that which now before us flew. A wind so slight yet cold to feel, As set our ship to gentle heel. Now time is said to be a curse, Tempered only with softened verse. Thus so it was did we find, Solace sound of different kind.
