Wednesday's Vent
WEDNESDAY'S VENT
How soon we forget, Syria, Yemen, and Afghanistan
Over 25 million Chinese in their new lock down plan
All eyes on Ukraine until that too becomes forgotten
And to many children of the world born misbegotten
Where are our morals, now are taught there is none
Why are we all turning a blind eye; to what is wrong
We see progress; yet the dire bell of doom still rings
Even the white dove of peace now has clipped wings
Whilst innocents run around; like everything is Okay
God; rue the day they lose it, then it's all hell to pay
Feel like my life has been wasted; I merely survived
Few years on; will my grandbairns even still be alive
Even my sod it as you only live once attitude is gone
I no longer have entitlement; I am up a creek wrong
I've a bad mouth, but I do not want to live a bad life
And putting up with the worlds crap, cuts like a knife
I listen to presidents, then as watch as my jaw drops
I am being fed on pure piffle and their left over slops
The President's son Hunter Biden are you kidding me
When we ever see real justice, it is never going to be
The last time justice was served they'd hung Saddam
And; even that turned out, to be a bit of a darn sham
Did I forget Libya, O' lets give that one a bit of a miss
Nothing heard more from there, but, it sure ain't bliss
Now I found Kim Wrong Un and Trump a bit of a laugh
Like 2 daft kids, who threw their ducks out of the bath
They forever pressing each others toy nuclear buttons
Then there was the way, Trump handled "em Russians
Slowly and surely, I have been left with feeling insane
I just can't do this for the next ten years flamin' again
My hope is Greg Abbot; comes through with his words
Stopping darn illegal immigrants coming in their herds
He's the only one as coming up with any logical sense
If he stopped being a soft ball, I also liked Mike Pence
Now; does anyone want to hear Pakistan's latest song
That jumped up PM; Imran Khan, is gone, gone, gone
That folks, I think, is the end of my Wednesday's vent
So if you got to the end line; thanks to your ears bent
