The Monster Feast
don't look behind you
the monster is there
poised to take your life
turn around if you dare
the hungry starving vampire
fangs ready to bite
hiding in the darkness
in the middle of the night
beware of the walking zombie
and his vacant stare
ready to grab and carry you
away we know not where
to add there's Frankenstiens monster
who could easily snap your neck
if you move too suddenly
awaits a horror you won't forget
and then there's the shadow
standing next to your own
it's body is invisible
and it's presence won't leave you alone
watch out for hidden psychopaths
waiting in the wings
often they are unexpected
hidding strange unusual things
the witch pretends to be sweeping
humming someold durge
and the floor she walks is squeeking
getting closer she test your nerves
the moon is full tonight
hidding behind the clouds
a walk in the park was ideal
until you heard that howl
hoof beats in the distance
a soldier on a black steed
and a misty ghostly image
where his heads suppose to be
the path that leads you over the bridge
where under the troll lives
hurry before it gets dark
or to the troll your life you'll give
alone and in a house
no one there but me
there's this awful feeling
that the house wants me to leave
an image in the mirror
as evil as can be
plotting evil and terror
oh wait! that poor soul is me.
