Now, quite suddenly Spring is sprung on us
with sunny fields of colorful flowers;
without the wicked wind, without the fuss
of princesses in their golden towers,
for even those in servitude will look
upon the riches strewn from Mother's love;
the melodies from yonder flowing brook,
the softly cooing music of the dove,
the purple hues of simple violet,
the yellow sprigs upon the hill,
the buttercup with wild red rose well met
in finest soil turned up by lowborn till.
Whether rich or poor both rejoice in Spring,
with bountiful blessings in everything.
