How can you heal a broken heart When the purity of your own Has been tainted With the viewpoints of hatred For the souls you trusted With your own How can I not run When my own life has been Nothing but a pure understanding Of my own pain and suffering For yet I give you all I can Knowing that the only person that Suffers, in the end, is me But I will smile And say “I love you” As if that is what the mother I never had Said to me Because being the person I never had I became motherly
