“Don’t watch the clock; do what it does. Keep going.” – Sam Levenson
I am the one that accompanies all.
I’ve always existed, and when you die,
I’ll carry on and see all mankind fall.
Indifferent and unwavering am I.
It matters not the season you are in,
nor the places where you might reside.
I care not if you’re good or if you sin.
Some try to elude me, but they can’t hide.
The longer you live and more you have to bear,
you’ll find the greatest proof of me is shown -
I manifest as wrinkles you’ll soon wear.
Grim Reaper comes, and he I’ve always known.
But once you pass, I will not leave you, for
my name is Time, and I live evermore.
