("Downtown Dallas, Texas," image courtesy of wallhere.com) Bill worked as an accountant in the 'green light building,' to the far left; I worked as a paralegal in the spired building across the street.)
Although hubby and I don't live close to downtown Dallas, we sometimes have occasion to venture 60 miles south down the freeway taking the exit we took many years ago when we both worked in downtown "Big D." Such was the case a couple of weeks ago. We arrived just before dusk, parked our car, and watched as a dark blue enveloped our beloved birthplace.
In the hush of deepening blue, evening comes to the city, ever lit, ever awake, ever with pulsing heart.
