Listen to the songs, falling from the skies, In brilliant azure notes, soft And hopeful, honest as the subtle hints Indigo gentling tears and spirits, Leaving a trail of lightly teasing rain, Melancholic and drifting toward the seas, Sapphire wings, hesitating at the edge of silence, Moments so alive they feel close to fires, Burning away the dark, glittering Golden faith, through the night, so bold – rising, Like a kindness beneath a soul Who breaths joy into the wonderful, Bleeds love through the loneliest grief, Sending a whisper of God’s gracious peace, Flavoring the spirit in warmth that believes, A soul that surely needs – His grace, Like dew covering the petals, or notes played, By the heavenly chorus from faithful hearts, We who know Him as the Savior of those, Who’ve been lost, those who will never, know what it cost… To bring love to earth, bring hope to light, Bring the dying soul a second chance, A reason, an insight, an understanding heart, Who knows that, with love, with grace, With the One who took our place… There is the hope that makes it all possible, The answer that testifies to peace, The worth of a love that never goes away, A love that lasts eternally for those who just have faith!

Dear Gina, What a wonderful, stunning testament to faith! The imagery is breathtaking - azure notes, indigo tears, sapphire wings. You mix colors into emotions beautifully. "Golden faith rising" is a powerful line, and the poem ends on a hopeful note of everlasting love. Truly moving! - Blessings, Daniel

Your poem beautifully and artistically shows us the deep power of faith. I often ask of myself, "given that power, why am I sometimes reluctant to engage it?" Sometimes I'm a mystery :-) Anyway, I liked 'sapphire wings' as well as these lines: Sending a whisper of God’s gracious peace, Flavoring the spirit in warmth that believes, A soul that surely needs – His grace, I always feel uplifted and refreshed after reading your poems. Hope you know that. Have a blessed day, hugs, Sara
