I think I may have lost my spark.
In quiet moments, I notice the change,
Food on my plate, but appetite estranged.
Thoughts dancing, swirling, a mind in disarray,
Lost in overthinking, joy slipping away.
Care like a river, flowing without end,
Worrying about others, a tireless friend.
A quest for perfection, an elusive goal,
Chasing shadows, taking a heavy toll.
Empty plates, a reflection of the soul,
Eating less, a part of me takes its toll.
Edging towards anxiety, a silent foe,
A battle within, a struggle to let go.
In this maze of thoughts, simplicity I seek,
To find the peace that whispers, not shrieks.
Slowly, gently, I'll mend the fray,
Embracing imperfection, finding my own way.
