Don'T Quit Your Daydream
Nagging still is the voice of inspiration
Coming from somewhere beyond and above,
Listen not to the call for hesitation...
Even if it comes from someone that you love
Drown out the doubters, all 'round you they hum
For nothing is impossible in our world today,
Looking at how far humanity has come
No daydream is as silly as they say...
Keep a promise to you, and you alone
When cold reality slaps you wide awake,
Don't quit your daydream or postpone
What little risk it would be to take
For this is how the seeds begin to grow
When lonesome times fuel ideas to spark,
Into the sullen hours, let imaginations go
Don't quit your daydream, even after dark.
