Sand, sand, everywhere
in my ears and in my hair
As I breathe this desert air
I’m growling like a grizzly bear
I need to slump into a chair
And get myself some nursing care
I even tried a little prayer
Which had a slight poetic air
I looked up but no Lord was there
Divine assistance proving rare
Just the Sun - a blinding glare
I’m burning for my skin is fair
And what is worse - I’m also bare
Because I acted on a dare
So may I ask you not to stare
Or you may get an awful scare
