Body Divine
In just two weeks I will attain the body divine
Eat my greens, attempt a sit up or two...
If only I'd lay off reduced aisle wine
Replace old habits with a nicotine chew.
I should take this day as a sign
Though not exactly out of the blue
If I act now my stars might align
Batten down the hatches, I am anew!
Sober and righteous...I will be just fine
Up up up! Rise with the morning dew
Try the ‘cat cow’ pose, stretch out your spine
Breath in…breath out…but wait for my cue.
Watch out boys, you’d better form a line
I've gone organic now darling, haven't you?
Of course, by day five I will be so asinine
My heart will cry out for an ice cold brew...
Who am I kidding, even a warm one would do!
