Bedtime
I go to bed. It’s been a long day.
All of the day’s cares melt away.
There’s no guessing what I might ponder.
My mind leaves my body to wander,
Taking flight, leaving reason behind,
It has its own mind. It’s unconfined.
It flies to the sky, drops in a well,
Visits heaven, and it visits hell.
