43 Days
43 DAYS
Ukraine, 43 days in and just look at all the destruction
Since Russian soldiers invasion, on Putin's instructions
Everywhere filled with broken tanks lining every street
As Putin sits in safety, he takes nothing but a backseat
So much tangled metal piled up in such of a short time
Buildings lie decimated; that once stood, in their prime
Millions of Ukrainians, shocked and dismayed displaced
Zelensky stands his ground, shows Russia as disgraced
Bodies litter streets and ruins, all tortured before death
It is more than enough, to take away the worlds breath
This all in just only 43 days on Ukraine it has Putin took
If only in this same time Putin could be brought to book
We could see an end to this mad mans atrocities at last
So Ukraine can heal itself; with one eye on it's sad past
