The woman and the forest
The woman fled to the forest, away from her assailants. She ran as fast as she could, breathing shallow quick breaths. She looked behind her and saw no one. Turning forward, she tripped on a branch and scraped her knee. Quickly rising to her feet, she proceeded running again.
Her eyes grew wide as she reached a clearing. She stopped momentarily to assess the area in front of her. She gasped and took a right turn. Several tall trees encased the landscape. She moved forward in a fever to seek her escape.
Another clearing appeared but this time an ancient castle appeared. Gazing at the site, the woman lept forward towards the gate. She knocked with the handle when she arrived at the door and it creeked open....
"Hello?", she said weakly. She pushed open the door and no one was there.
