A Month
|
Been here 'bout a month. Used to write a lot on Journalspace until the site got deleted by a disgruntled employee. At any rate, reading poems and writing poems helps me see. I hope somebody reads me, but it really doesn't matter, the river flows whether anyone's there to see it or not. Just lett'n it flow.

An introduction.

I am glad both of you are here madpote and coldhands. I just found this part of the site, or would have introduced myself way back when I started writing here. Please don't let typos and sentence forming abilities hinder either one of you. Writing is being. Just be. E.E. Cummings, who never cared much about capitalization or punctuation in any of his poems, wrote: "since feeling is first who pays any attention
to the syntax of things
will never wholly kiss you;"
Typos and "weak sentences" ARE poetry, so I hope you're not inhibited, and share your words!

I'm Skye, new to the Soup

I just discovered there was a place to introduce myself, Lee and Skyemind, and I'm glad I did--I discovered you. Looking forward to reading your poems.
