I have quite a few poems that I would maybe like to put on poetry soup but feel a little embarrassed because I have no idea what type they are, so at the moment I am restricted to certain formats. I would rather not put 'I don't know' for the others, so my question is what can I put them under? Any response at all would be appreciated.

Don't be embarrassed..maybe it would be helpful for you to scroll down to poetry forms and study them a bit..this has helped me and I am still learning after being on this site for a couple of years. Also there are folks on here that will help you discover the correct form if you put the wrong thing in...Above all I want to say don't let the fear of making a mistake keep you from posting and sharing your poetry with all the good people on here!Look forward to reading your poetry .....take care...Deb Wilson

Yes,on the left there is (Forms of Poetry) You can go there and kinda check out what it is you write. Most people write in (verse) Or like me,I write in (Rhyme)or (monorhyme).Any questions...I'll try to answer them. :o)
