The Preservation of Peace

Clawing at granite walls 
in search of that perfect peace
Using the shavings of those walls,,,
to construct yet another wall
to preserve the pristine of peace.
                but
Peace is a restless beast... 
escaping through the first crack that it sees
To keep its pristine   peace must always flee.
