Dear no one

*Dear No One*

In the silence, I whisper your name
A echo of memories, a heart in flames
I search for solace, a refuge from pain
But like the wind, you're gone, and I remain

In this emptiness, I'm lost and alone
The shadows of what we had, now a distant moan
I yearn for your touch, your gentle tone
But like a dream, you vanished, leaving me to atone

My tears fall like rain, a endless sea
Drowning me in sorrow, a heart that's lost its key
I'm trapped in this darkness, with no escape
A prisoner of memories, a soul that's about to break

In the mirror, a stranger's face stares back
A reflection of what's left, a heart that's cracked
I'm searching for a glimpse, of what we used to be
But like a ghost, you're gone, and I'm left to plead

If only time could heal, the wounds you left behind
If only love could bring you back, to this heart of mine
But like the sand, you slipped right through
Leaving me with nothing, but a heart that's blue

Welcome to poetrysoup! If he loved you like you love him, he should return. But if he's moved on, then it's time to mend your heart and find the one who will make you smile again. Enjoyed reading!
