Undefined

Undefined, as a mountain range
That catches your eye
In distant view
As you’re driving by

Amorphous
Wrapped in a shroud
Of mystery, as a cloud

A riddle, obscured
In a bank of fog

An enigma
Veiled
In grime and smog

That knows no beat
But its own in time
Ever aloof
And undefined –

John, this poem creates teeth-gnashing tension for me, the reader, as the 'unknown' factor speaks ever-louder --- and ever more annoying to this modern man's desire to identify and categorize everything. Kudos, Gershon
