Eurovision past, present, future

It was nineteen seventy six
When a great band sang about saving a kiss
Such a jolly song
That anyone could sing along
I learned the words off by heart
And entered a singing contest
While on holiday
Save all your kisses for me
Save all your kisses for me
Always a great memory
I'll never forget the day that
As some candy was awarded to me.

Hi, Diana. Thanks for poetically pointing out the contrast between the unencumbered good-heartedness of the the winning song in 1976 with the tortured vibes of this year's winner --- not to mention the politicization, with the attack dogs going after Israel's contestant. Makes me long for yesterday. ~ Gershon

Dear Diana, you have wonderfully captured the nostalgia and joy of a cherished memory. Your heartfelt sentiment brings the past to life, making me feel the excitement of that special day. Your words are a delightful tribute to the timeless magic of music and memories. - Blessings, my friend, Daniel
