A Bee in her Bonnet

Today Miss had a bee in her bonnet And many a sting was coming from it Observing her twitches The kids were in stitches As they were trying to write a sonnet. Miss was crying with the pain and blushing The kids realised and stopped their gushing They calmed her distressing Each child was a blessing And a lesson was learnt in the buzzing. The lesson learnt was to always be kind No matter what’s going on in one’s mind Silence can be golden So one’s not beholden To ask forgiveness and become refined.

not just one, but three Limericks. I'm impressed with your creativity and wit. I struggle writing Limericks, but yours make it look so easy. I liked the last line in each of the last two verses. Nicely done, Beryl. Have a wonderful evening, hugs, Sara
