I find Poetry Soup is a warm and charming community of folks who really seem to care for one another and I knew that I really wanted to be a part of this wonderful place. I grabbed what I had written here and there and posted it on the site. I didn’t have much, and so I gave it the old college try, then received my first comment, I was shaking like a leaf!
I have discovered that I love to research and write about History. Many are stunned to learn about pieces of history they've never known. And fiction. Most of my poems are fiction, I enjoy it very much. The contests, writing challenge for the sharing of poems, the challenge of writing to improve my writing skill and for the fun!
