Ode To Communicating with a Cedar Tree

Strophe
I
Oh ancient cedar so grand, huge and wise
In BC’s old growth glen;I. did encountered thee
I sat beneath your trunk and asked advice ;
I sensed the presence of the cedar tree 

II
I  did get a riposte to my surprise
The cedar roared you kill my kind ;ask my 
advice?!
Begone human ,now! I won’t say this twice
Clearcutting removed these trees  ;I. now paid 
the price

III
I find these trees are beautiful and  grand
I understand now this cedar’s dismay
It’s views I didn’t dismiss out of hand
I got up when done without a delay

Antistrophe
I
Clear cutting  of a forest,not a crime
Helps species that can not  tolerate shade
Wisely used,  younger trees gets more sunshine
Species that can’t stand the shade have it made

II
Angel Oak , Giant redwood are grand too
There are plenty more grand trees one can
find
The next road trip you take ,find them, will you?
Try uniting with them will so blow your
mind

Ode To The Fifth Kingdom

I
O mycorrhiza, nature’s internet.
This internet keep everything alive .
Beats out anything Humans thought as yet.
 The natural world around it does thrive.
II
Trees struck by lightning ,finished by decay.
The  Net sends signals to the biosphere.
Mycorrhiza knows and does save the day.
The Net saves the biosphere ,is that clear ?

III
This food stuff can help many a hurt tree.
Trees kept alive as long as they can stand.
The Net restores  trees as much as can be.
Mycorriza the way to heal the land.

IV 
Shrooms can heal you taste great to say the least.
The Lions mane ,Reishi are good for health.
Find Boletes and Chanterel what a feast! ,
I add the Turkey-tail too. Wow what wealth !

fire burns deadwood  where ever it falls.
They free up space ; release fresh food they do.
Fire for Black Morels to grow no pitfall .
Do not forget sun and rain they help too.

Eat meat and poultry they are  fine for you.
Drink fruit juice and V5 they are healthy .
Eat fish and bread and fruits you should eat too.
Deduce the rede  aboce you’d be wealthy .

A Sestina on old growth forests

Old growth forests are a sight to behold             
 Humans wiping them out makes me angry
 Politicos who support this can go to Hell             
 Angel Oaks,giant cedars and Redwoods              
 These are some of my favoured trees,  I say                   
 General Sherman -a most ancient tree                 

Angel Oak boughs are coiled ,I love this tree
All the ancient trees ;divine  to behold
Lay my ashes neath an Oak tree  I say
Clear cut forrests they made me quite angry
Giant cedars ,grand -behold the Redwoods
 Those who wreck  ancient forests go to Hell

Ancient forests wrecked I'm angry as Hell
The huge red oak is one hell of a tree
Other beatific trees are the Redwoods
Angrboda ‘s tree -lovely to behold
Cutting these trees down-I'm bloody angry
Politicos should pay a price: I say

Old growth forests are a biome,  I say
Those who destroy them are stupid as Hell
 Lay waist to old growth forests?-I'm angry
 I sat still under a huge cedar tree
 Hike thru these forests a sight to behold
I wonder what critters live in Redwoods

I wish I can visit the grand Redwoods
 I'm wheelchair bound  do not know what to say
Walked thru a small old growth woods nice to behold
The woods were denuded of old trees,oh Hell
  Old growth Cedars are one hell of a tree
 Most of the old growth gone makes me angry

Logging roads in BC grave ,I’m angry 
Love to muse beneath a pair of Redwoods
What type of vibe will I get from that tree?
 Protest the harm of old growth woods; I say
 If you don’t  help out ,I'm angry as Hell
 Clear  cut woods from a plane -shock to behold

O Grandpa Davis who gave me my skill
My  art talents ,organic,  came from you 
Sorry I haven’t praised you ,now .I will 
Your art and talents I admire you so

Your art is an inspiration to me
Once I lost my home; most of your art  gone
 It should have been enjoyed for all to see 
 T’is a wicked act ; I do frown upon

Living in the Land of the Lost

In the Land of the Lost, on my floor;folks crazed 
A wod jane does yell trash in flush room.; felt miffed
My nerves tense, on this floor -I’m on edge;feel brash
Here 8 months there is no hope in sight; feel stiffed
There’s an old bag here that bums for cash; she’s trash
How to be sane ? I then write poems;   do art
Strange sounds comes when my roomy  does sleep-old old pfart
I tell him stop it please I crash hard; mind dazed,
Need more cash to live here.I say your; bucks due.
Funds, ask your kin be nice small talk will help you
First two floors and 3 west folks seem not so bad.
I hope the other wards are fairer, am glad,
Nice things to state about the Vigi,caff great.
I like tuna sarnies all dressed please;first rate
I am finished with this poem with much heart .

Pathetic Ballad of Mrs Longpre

The woman next door yells Help me!
She swears like a  sailor 
Is she insane or that's her game ?
She’s a bloody wailer

Inside my room,”pipe down” I yell
In hall I say, “quiet” 
In her room, she yells  “Go to Hell”
This hap’s  a bloody riot

She screams follies, I get no peace
Full of gall what a whore.
I wish her scornful ways would cease
Her style cruel that’s for sure.

She complains about the food here
The food here I can’t stand 
She gripes about service yah hear
Two points she gets ok.

If she does want better treatment 
Please do not use trash talk 
The staff will so take  care of you
Folks who pass her won’t gawk.

What is the future of  the Human race
The USA’ is no leader today 
Wrecking the natural world -a disgrace

Netanyahu is a war thug forevermore
The mid east war -total insanity 
Humans act horrible I do deplore
What is the karma  of Humanity ?

Two polar fates for Humans I embrace 
Green party politics can save the day 
Non Green politics we are dead -I say
What is the future of  the Human race ?

Biden listens not to peace activists
Biden’s Vietnam -college protests I relay
The peace activists are not anarchists 
The USA’ is no leader today 

Humans greed will destroy us I decry

Grandstanders are crooks as far I can tell
Some grandstanders aren’t what can I say
A mixed system is needed  I do yell

Dems weak and do zip homie. did foretell 
Biden’s Israel mid-east plan good. I relay
