Patri Venkata Ramana Poem
Hello Friend!
You are welcome!
Don’t underrate that we are boasting about ourselves.
Don’t treat us as the suppliers of the basic needs only.
Try to reach our inner voice.
When you get disturbed,
You can come and roam under this canopy.
You certainly feel the ambience pious and solicitous
The green cover soothes and cheers your heart.
You can regain your energy and confidence.
You know, your forefathers roamed happily in these glades.
Fairies often came down and rested here.
Knowing this, they used to worship us.
Their cultures and festivals were tied with us.
Believe it or not, still we can hear their voices lingering on in this air.
During autumn, we shed our leaves
And in spring we get the lost glory back.
We never get demoralized.
We know Life and its secrets.
“Service” is our motto.
You sit on chairs;
Sleep on cots;
Eat our fruits and nuts
Everything is being used - hides, herbs, roots, leaves and what not...
Store your valuables in the wooden boxes;
We die and transform into coffins to safeguard your corpse. Why?
We know the purpose of living.
Living or dying doesn’t matter.
Serving others gives the bliss of heaven.
Look at the age- old Oak trees
Standing like staunch pillars
They are symbols for strong determination and invincible spirit.
Our strength lies in our roots.
They are hidden in this soil.
The inner strength is superior to all.
Look at the mighty trees. How humble they are!
The calamities sometimes cause severe damage to us.
But we can withstand and revamp this pristine nature..
Is it not the sign of our perseverance?
Hundreds of creatures find their dwellings in us.
Are we not protecting them like a mother?
Dear friend,
Recall the moral of the story that you read in your childhood.
“Enjoy the egg but not be greedy and try not to cut open the hen.”
Remember,
Protecting trees means you are building a heaven for your grandchildren.

Patri Venkata Ramana Poem
Friends may not go together.
But friendship is a splendid feel endures forever.
You may toil the whole day.
Sharing a few words with the pal takes your stress away.
Friendship is a treasure
That renews your pleasure.
A friend backs you up in your efforts
And applauds your accomplishments
From the crony’s eyes, tears roll,
Who never accepts your downfall.
A chum can read the untold stories
And finds ways to put a check to all your worries
Pray God not for a bounty.
Beg Him to send you a buddy.
Get a friend, who is dearest indeed,
You won’t be in any need.

Veterans pass on us
vast knowledge they acquired.
Various ebbs and flows,
valiant actions and their
virtuous paths that play
vital role to fill the

Patri Venkata Ramana Poem
I was still lying down,
As the danger bells imposed lockdown.
When the zephyrs coming through the net doors,
I tucked myself tightly in the covers.
The most euphonious sounds,
Echoing on and on in my ears.
Chirping and tweeting of birds,
Buzzing of dragon-flies,
Hoarse calls of cocks,
Warbling like symphonic notes.
The sweet fragrance of flora,
Blended with the aroma of Terra.
I thought I was in a delusion,
But the jargon caught my attention.
I looked through the window bars
Felt the aurora's rising rays.
For many decades I have lived here,
Never noticed such a joyful clamor!
The bliss of nature beyond my horizon,
For many years I have been in isolation.
I surmised…

Patri Venkata Ramana Poem
Not a cruel master; a humble assistant;
To visit or not, cannot be done by his choice.
Always carries a portfolio under his arm,
A pre designed schedule saying when and where to attend.
He comes not, though invited; uninvited, stops not coming.
Sometimes comes like an unconventional rain.
He is the mark of beginning and ending of life.
But how unlucky he is!
Always listens to no other emotions except mourning.
Silently tolerates all curses showered.
His job is endless.
No single applause for him.
Perhaps, in Nature
The one and only who is
Blamed for his utmost promptness

Patri Venkata Ramana Poem
I’m a familiar bird with little shape,
Cute and brown with a lot of pep
There is nothing about me to swank
I’m simple just how you think
Neither have graceful plumes,
Nor blessed with mellifluous booms
But I’m the most sociable one
A symbol of joy and protection
I’m an icon of hard work
And believe in team work
May be insignificant by stature,
Withstand every climate nature
Bathe in sand and water alike,
Sing in groups is what I like
Despite thrown into Red Book alerts,
I serve my best to save you from pests.
I am your little sparrow.
