Before Those Words of Thoughts Are Told
This is the place where we first met so many decades ago. This spot where I stand I saw your face in the evening light. I didn’t need the bright sun to know. To know that there and then my life was changed and everything I thought I knew I didn’t know. To know that love consumed my heart. My mind would start to grow. So many years, so many tears but together is still our stronghold. We know the thoughts of each other before those words of thoughts are told. My life has been until now shared with you through hot and cold. We’ve relied on the strength of our love when dark times for us took hold. My life from now will hold you dear and hold you until I can no longer hold. For your love is everything to me and forevermore will be the one thing that I will never let go.
