How dark is my dark
How bitter I have become

Then in the midst of falling, I can see the light

My eyes are filled with tears
As my grief overwhelms me
Suddenly I feel the binding of my chains broken
I raise my hands up to the God most High
He has loved me well as I have pushed Him away
His love weighs me down as I abandon all I thought was real
Hate will no longer define me
Anger will no longer rule me
I bow my knee to the one that molded me between His hands and called meHis
I am free
