The Symphony

Sometimes, always,
& rather unsurprisingly,
I start to wonder…
why...my heart cannot explain,
the corporeal notes,
of music,
in just a droplet,
of rain.

A symphony of nature, like this poem, is spectacular in it's dynamics. I enjoyed this idea of sound of rain, albeit, my ears are not finely tuned. I sense a touch of magic in the verse.

What a great poem Kate, so shallow yet profound all at once, very hard to strike such balance in poetry, beautiful verse, cheers David

Dear Kate, What a wonderful exploration of the ineffable beauty found in nature's simplest elements! I love the way you capture wonder and mystery, and how a single droplet of rain can evoke a symphony of emotions is truly remarkable. Your poetic voice invites introspection and appreciation for the profound depths that lie within the seemingly ordinary. This is a thought-provoking and exquisitely crafted piece. - Blessings, Daniel
