Tell Me

Tell me something if you wish
Stay in touch with me
Send me little bluebirds
That's what I like to see

Tell me something if you want
It's you who make my day
By phone calls, hi's, and messages
By anything you say

And if you dream please tell me
If you're so inclined
I constantly have dreams of you
You're always on my mind

But if you think it best to not
Then know I understand
Though for you I'll be waiting
Unseen at your right hand

Ready to encourage
Motivate, distract
To tell you how your presence
Has made a huge impact

I can't imagine how my life
Would be not knowing you
Regardless if the day comes
When to each we say, I do

And always I'll remember
When the moon is full at night
How I longed to stand behind you
Under brilliant white starlight
