Leaving Love Behind

I am leaving love
Behind~

Your trickery 
Took 
The last little
Bit of it.

I have become
Brittle,
Dry like desert
Sand and wind

Patently 
     Painting
          Pretty
               Patterns

Into illusions;
Magic mirages
Made of nebulous 
Daydreams,

Destined to disappear,
Leaving me
Lonely and lost
In despair.
